Rangers will host Katsina United in the opening fixture of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta.
The defending champions have chosen the Abeokuta venue as their temporary home ground due to ongoing renovation work at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.
The Flying Antelopes will also stage their CAF Champions League home matches at the same venue.

Rangers are expected to return to Enugu once renovation work at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium is completed.
Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side claimed the NPFL title for the ninth time last season and will be hoping to begin their title defence on a winning note.
The Enugu club will also aim to become the first defending champions in three years to win the season-opening fixture.
Rangers were held to a goalless draw by El-Kanemi Warriors in the opening game of the 2024/25 campaign, while Rivers United played out a 1-1 draw with Remo Stars in the 2025/26 season opener.
