Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has praised Kylian Mbappé after a stellar hat-trick for the Los Blancos, describing his performance level as stratospheric and noting that he is a player with a huge hunger to make history.
Following a stellar hat-trick against Real Sociedad, Mourinho in a chat with the club’s website, emphasized that Mbappé makes winning games much easier and instills fear in opponents.

The Portuguese tactician also remarked that Mbappé is doing everything possible to prove he is the leading player in the world at the moment.
Mourinho said it would be tricky but not impossible to get the team’s three biggest names in the same team all at their best, and this match suggested he is on the right track.
“This guy is incredible,” said Mourinho of Mbappe, while also praising Madrid’s overall display.
“I see him really hungry to make history with Real Madrid, and I see a team where, despite Kylian being Kylian, it’s hard for me not to talk about the team.

“I always say that in my career I’ve coached teams with incredible players, and I’ve had teams with good players, but not the absolute best. I always say that these guys need to be taught to play as a team. Nothing individual when the team is struggling to build attacks.
“Kylian has a lot of ability. He doesn’t wait for the team to play to score; he drops deep to create opportunities, plays a one-two with Jude for the goal… he has a lot of quality. Obviously, Kylian had his own game, but everyone played very well.”
