The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has named Musa Zagi as its deputy governorship candidate in Kebbi State ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The appointment was announced on Friday in a statement signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Engr. Abubakar Atiku Musa, who said the nomination was approved by the party’s governorship candidate, Abubakar Malami.
According to the statement, the party congratulated Zagi on his emergence and expressed confidence in his ability to effectively discharge the responsibilities of the office if elected.

The ADC also extended its best wishes to all its candidates contesting various elective positions in the 2027 general elections, urging party members and supporters to remain united and committed to securing victory at the polls.
The party further called for peaceful, free and fair elections and appealed to the people of Kebbi State to support its candidates, expressing optimism that the ADC would provide purposeful leadership if elected into office.
