UCL: Lookman scores as Atletico Madrid beat Man Utd

Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman, scored the second goal as Atletico Madrid beat Manchester United 2-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The defeat piles on more pressure on Michael Carrick, who is enjoying a torrid start to life as United’s permanent manager.

The Red Devils were behind as early as the first minute of the match, as Pablo Barrios put the hosts in front.

Lookman was introduced in the second half of the game and reacted quickest to tap home a rebound in the 79th minute.

It is a first win for Diego Simeone’s men, who now sit in 13th place on the Champions League table.
