Former Dundee United manager Ian McCall has disclosed that Rangers should consider selling Super Eagles defender Emmanuel Fernandez for a large fee if a significant offer arrives.
The Nigerian international faced heavy criticism following a shaky 1-1 draw against Dundee United and a costly slip in a 2-1 defeat to Jagiellonia Bialystok.

Speaking with Ibrox News, McCall hinted that the 49ers should make the easy decision to sell Fernandez if decent money comes their way.
“They got down the sides of them so easily, Fernandez as well,” McCall said, via Ibrox News.
“I mean, if you get a lot of money for Fernandez, it would be a no-brainer decision to sell.”
Fernandez enjoyed an undeniably strong debut campaign for Rangers during the 2025–26 season, making 28 league appearances.

His impressive defensive performances significantly boosted his market value and caught international attention, earning him a maiden call-up to the Nigeria Super Eagles in March 2026.
He played a key role in central defense, anchoring the backline as Rangers finished third in the Scottish Premiership.
