…Pledge Massive Grassroots Support For 2027 Ambition
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 Benue State governorship election, Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa (SAN), on Sunday received thousands of supporters from the Kwande and Ushongo axis with a promise to give him strong backing in 2027.
The support groups which came under the Kwande/Ushongo Youth Alliance (KUYA), Ushongo daughters, and Abayol Sisters paid a solidarity visit to Chief Aondoakaa to formally declare their unflinching support for his governorship aspiration ahead of the 2027 elections.
The delegation assured Aondoakaa of their readiness to mobilise massive grassroots support across their communities to wrestle power from the incumbent Governor Hyacinth Alia and ensure he emerges as the next Governor of the state.
The groups expressed confidence in the former Justice Minister’s capacity, integrity, and wealth of experience, describing him as the leader best positioned to restore hope, unite the people, and place the state on the path of sustainable development.
Speaking on behalf of the groups, Bernard Terngu Aga, Terdue Akaaya, Blessing Aondowase, and Dooshima Iorfa reaffirmed their collective commitment to the Aondoakaa project.
They promised to embark on vigorous grassroots campaigns and sensitisation efforts, assuring him that every available structure within their organisations would be deployed to canvass support for his victory at the polls.
Responding, Chief Aondoakaa expressed profound appreciation for the confidence reposed in him and commended the groups for their unity, patriotism, and commitment to the future of Benue State.
He urged them to remain steadfast and work audaciously, not only for his governorship ambition but also for the success of the party at all levels.
Specifically, the ex-AGF charged them to mobilise support for the party’s Senatorial candidate, Hon. Thomas Tyolumun Unongo, the House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Moses Mkeenem, as well as all the PDP House of Assembly candidates, emphasising that victory would only be meaningful through collective success across the ballot.
