Super Eagles head coach, Éric Chelle has made two changes to his squad ahead of Nigeria’s international friendly against Russia.
Midfielder John Otomewo and defender Vince Osuji have been called up to replace captain Wilfred Ndidi and Akpe Victory, who will miss the encounter.
Otomewo recently completed a move to French Ligue 2 side Stade de Reims from Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Jerusalem.
Osuji, meanwhile, is currently with Norwegian club Tromsø following his departure from Belgian outfit Club Brugge.
The pair will be hoping to make their Super Eagles debuts when Nigeria face Russia at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium next Tuesday.
The two nations last met in June 2025, when they played out a 1-1 draw at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium.
