The Falconets of Nigeria have arrived in Poland ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, Completesports.com reports.

The team will now intensify preparations for the global showpiece, with attention shifting to final training sessions, tactical drills and ensuring the players are in top condition for the tournament.

Before departing Nigeria, the Falconets underwent an extensive training programme in Abuja, where they also featured in a series of friendly matches as part of their build-up.

Moses Aduku’s side will further test their readiness with warm-up matches against hosts Poland and Korea Republic before the start of the competition.

Head coach Aduku named his final 21-player squad for the tournament on the eve of the team’s departure for Poland.

Nigeria have been drawn in Group F alongside Spain, China and New Caledonia.

The Falconets will begin their campaign against Spain at the Arena Sosnowiec on Monday, 7 September.

They will return to the same venue three days later to face China in their second group fixture.

Aduku’s side will then round off their group-stage campaign against New Caledonia at the Stadion Miejski ŁKS on Sunday, 13 September.

The Falconets will be hoping for an impressive outing in Poland as they seek to challenge for honours at the global tournament.
